Case Studies
New International Airport – Middle East
Appointed delay and quantum experts in a matter relating a new airport terminal construction.
Kenzie represented the claimant and were instructed to prepare a claim for a £25 million delay and disruption claim, on an airport terminal project in Qatar.
Mining Project – UK
Appointed delay experts in a matter relating a mining project.
Delay analysis for £1Bn mining project, project monitoring for insurers. Project consisted 37km of tunnel and four shaft sinking’s, as well as associated mechanical equipment.
High End Residential Development – UK
Appointed delay and quantum experts in a matter relating a new apartment building.
Kenzie represented the claimant and were instructed to prepare a claim for a £5 million delay and disruption claim.
Breakwater and Harbour Works – UK
Kenzie Managing Director acted as Technical Mediator supporting the Mediator who was a QC.
Chaired a series of technical meetings aimed at crystallizing the issues in dispute and clarifying each parties position. Mediator advised of parties respective positions in advance of the day of the mediation. Matter settled following mediation.
Wastewater treatment facility – Europe
Delay Analysis in relation to an EU funded wastewater treatment facility in Romania with a contract value of €30 million. Preparation of documents for presentation to a FIDIC DAB.
