Oil Pipeline Project – Asia

Appointed in a matter relating to a 1,850km onshore pipeline project.

The £100M project scope consisted of pipeline management system (including SCADA), telecommunications, controls and equipment rooms. Kenzie represented the claimant (the EPC contractor) in a matter against the client. Instructed to prepare variation account. Matter settled following negotiations.

Co-generation Power Plant – Middle East

Appointed delay experts in a matter relating a co-generation power plant.

The claim concerned damage to a gas turbine generator. Kenzie analysed the submitted Delay in Start Up (DSU) claim and independently calculated the period of interruption caused by the property damage event. We further analysed the repair timeline and the effectiveness of the mitigation measures implemented.

The matter settled following negotiation.

Petrochemical Plant – Asia

The claim concerned damage to the civils engineering works. Kenzie analysed the submitted Delay in Start Up (DSU) claim and independently calculated the period of interruption caused by the property damage event.

Ammonia Production Plant – Middle East

The claim concerned the repair of property damaged following a fire at the plant. Kenzie analysed the submitted Delay in Start Up (DSU) claim and independently calculated the period of interruption caused by the property damage event.

Coal Fired Power Plant (4.8GW) – Africa

Appointed delay experts in a matter relating to a coal fired power station project.

The £100M project scope consisted of controls and automation to six power units. Kenzie represented the claimant (the EPC contractor) and prepared a prolongation claim for 12 months. Matter settled following negotiations.
